Before the consultation you will be asked to complete and return a questionnaire on your health, lifestyle, any specific health concerns, and medical history. You will also be asked to keep a typical 3-day food diary.
Some conditions such as allergies, persistent digestive problems, severe hormone or nutrient imbalances, may benefit from further investigation. Functional Tests can be recommended as an additional service or you may be referred to your medical practitioner.
A supplement programme may also be recommended to provide further support. This will be discussed with you fully at your consultation.
Zest4life is a nutrition and weightloss programme based on Patrick Holford’s Low GL Diet, where you learn how to manage your weight the right way and take control of your own health.
GL or Glycemic load is an excellent way of gauging the effect of food on your blood sugar levels and therefore your energy, wellbeing and weight.
